Product Update: Sharper Control. Faster Navigation. Deeper Risk Insights.
This month, we’ve released major upgrades that give security teams tighter control over exception handling, better visibility into API data exposure, smoother day-to-day navigation across Impart, plus an Inspector update. These enhancements help teams reduce risk faster—without slowing down delivery.
Impart App Updates
At Impart, an app is a purpose-built interface designed to simplify specific security workflows—so teams can move faster with more precision. Two major upgrades to our WAF-focused apps help you govern exceptions and prioritize threats with greater clarity.
📌 WAF Attack Exceptions App – Customize Exceptions with Confidence
Exceptions are inevitable—but unmanaged WAF exceptions become blind spots. This app gives teams a centralized, auditable way to apply rule exclusions with precision. That means fewer false positives, faster incident triage, and safer production changes—with full control.

🚦 Critical Paths in the WAF Attack App – Prioritize What Matters
The WAF Attack App now lets you define critical paths in your application—key flows that carry outsized business or security impact.
Why it matters: Not all endpoints are equal. Critical path awareness helps teams triage threats more intelligently, align response to business value, and avoid alert fatigue by filtering noise from low-value areas.

🔎 Sensitive Data in the API Security Posture Report – Spot Data Risk in Real Time
The API Security Posture Report now includes visibility into sensitive data flows—highlighting top endpoints for inbound and outbound sensitive data traffic.
Why it matters: APIs often become invisible data channels. This update makes it easy to spot high-risk interfaces, enforce least-privilege access, and prove governance to auditors. You get a live map of where sensitive data moves—so you can secure it before attackers exploit it.

🧭 Refreshed Navigation – Less Clicks, More Clarity
We’ve updated the navigation experience to make it easier and faster to move across key capabilities.
Why it matters: Security teams are under pressure to do more with less. Time spent wrestling with UI is time not spent reducing risk. The new nav helps users find what they need, faster—whether you’re tuning rules, reviewing posture, or onboarding a new team member.
